david kuge - owner & Instructor

I started my career in law enforcement in 1977. I worked a variety of areas within the Department, including both the Drug Enforcement Unit and Gang Unit. I spent 7 years teaching at the range, 3 years as an assistant, and 4 years as Range Master. I retired after 5 years as the Chief of the Department in 2015. The most satisfying positions in the Department were working in the field and teaching at the range. I believe every law-abiding citizen has the absolute right to carry a firearm for self-protection. This is why I have chosen a path to pass on as much information to people as I can, and I believe my continued education about firearms is also vital. I have continued my training and education taking multiple Massad Ayoub Group Courses, eventually becoming a staff instructor in May of 2021. I also took several classes for other organizations and have become an instructor for the NRA and USCCA.
