MAG-30 SHOOTER DEVELOPMENT
MAG-30 Range is a three-day course specifically designed to bring the MAG-20 and/or MAG-40 graduate to the next level of their shooting skills using Massad Ayoob’s Defensive Handgun Shooting System.
This is a physically and mentally demanding course with a 3,000 round count Course of Fire that is extremely structured for maximum efficiency. Each core technique is trained and skill builder drills are performed. To receive a MAG-30 certificate, a minimum score of 90% (270 out of 300) is needed for each of the seven qualifications (which include the “Double Speed” from MAG-80 and “Triple Speed” from MAG-120).

What to bring to class:
Quality handgun, suitable for self-protection and/or concealed carry (You will be firing approximately 3,000 rounds. Ultra-lightweight firearms, though suitable for concealed carry, are not a good choice for this class. If you have any questions, please contact us. It is a good idea to bring a spare gun, if you have one, just in case your primary gun breaks. It happens more than you think!)
Quality holster
5+ magazines or speed loaders for your handgun
Magazine pouch/holder for 4+ of your spare magazines or speed loaders
Sturdy belt
Muff hearing protection (Electronic is best)
Eye protection
Baseball cap or other brimmed hat (No red, please)
3,000+ rounds of decent quality, reliable ammunition (Range ammunition [FMJ, etc.] is fine; you do not need to use premium self defense ammo for this course)
Suitable clothing (for the range and weather)
Note taking materials (Pen/paper, laptop, or tablet to take LOTS of notes [We’ll explain when you get here]; NO audio or video recording allowed)
Firearm cleaning supplies/tools/lubricants
